Beware the Ides of March my friend. Unless, of course, you know Feng Shui. One surefire way to stop all those backstabbers, office gossips and those politicking to get your job is to place any symbol or depiction (statue or figurine) of a rooster at the top of your desk. This will put an immediate end to all those who are cocky enough to think that they could do without you and will leave you able to strut your stuff in peace

Today is National Pi day because, of course, 3.14 is the value of Pi. Quantum Physics actually has a great deal to do with Feng Shui, don’t you know. Physics portends that for each and every action there has to be an equal or opposite reaction. That’s the same when you create an intention and then follow it with any action step, such as hanging a wind chime outside and to the left of your front door. When you take that action you are creating an (energetic) reaction of inviting great good fortune and lots of luck into your home. Hang a wind chime today. When you do, I promise, you’ll definitely enjoy a nice piece of Pi.

Kathy and I have been discussing our dreams on email. I have recently been giving a lot of thought to some ‘old’ dreams I have had.

   We always know deep down what they mean don’t we? Sometimes it takes a while for the answer to come through to us, but thats why its a good idea to save our dream journals.

   I would welcome any comments any of you have about this subject.

Maybe Mother Nature realizes that when we are younger our physical energy is high and needs constant outlet. Since nothing in nature seems to be random, maybe the physical slowing down we get as we age is so we can practice more control of our inner world rather than our outer world. That gives the cleaning process an entire new energy working on the spiritual plane rather than physical.

 I have always been a great believer in getting up everyday and ‘getting my house in order.’ It justs makes the whole day better. It feels like we are then ready for ‘life.‘ I hate that I don’t have the energy to take care of this the way I did when I was young. It seems to represent my growing older and slowing down.     I don’t mind getting older, I just want to be able to manage (control?) my surroundings. Don’t we all?

It isn’t hard at all. After you once get it going it just grows like crazy. Mom is growing some now too. I actually had so much in the frig I had to stop for a couple of days and Frank and I are trying to drink 2-4 oz a day each. and thats a lot of juice.

   Answering your questions, I ordered everything from wheatgrass.com. It was a kit complete with everything. We are growing ours indoors with ‘grow’ lights. I have followed the instructions perfectly and have not had any trouble so far. You just put the seeds on top of the soil like you were sprouting something. Get them really wet and put 4 layers of bounty paper towels on them. You water them everyday and the third day you take off the towels. Actually they are already pushing the towels up. I take them off the shelf every morning and water.

They grow so thick by the tenth day they will not dry out in the middle of the tray. You have to watch closely for mold. I guess that is a big problem sometimes. I think we could actually plant a little thinnner.

  I have a good book you can borrow if you want, and the kit comes with one also. I don’t know why they couldn’t be grown outside if the weather is good.

   But you can’t put them in the blender, or even in a regular juicer. It is a hand operated juicer like the old meat grinders. The grass is so delicate that the high speed blenders can’t squeeze the juice out, the grass just wraps around the blades. Next time you come over I will show you everything.

   I am very impressed with the results so far. I think wheatgrass should really be used on a regular basis for chronic diseases. For many very ill people this is their miracle medicine. But I thought i would take it to get this weight off of me and ‘cure’ my arthritis and the other disorders I have and then just take it a few times a year for cleansing and ‘tune up.’

Hey Lela,
I am anxious to try the wheatgrass. I think it must be too easy because I keep wanting more instructions before I give it a try. I do have some wheatgrass seeds. Do you cover the seeds with plastic before they sprout? Can you use a blender to juice the wheatgrass? Let me know if this gets thru to you. It’s my first time to reply.
