‘Much ado About Fresh air’ it did bring tears to my old eyes, it took me back to times when Papa, brother Jay and I were night fishing in the Red River, and also Cash creek.

Papa did the fishing, Brother and I would be laying on the soft green grass beside Papa naturally, he never let us out of his sight thank goodness. We’d lay on our backs, arms under our head, the night sky and beautiful sparkling stars, there is just no describing the things and how I felt at that young age.

I can still feel the cool breeze blowing on my face, hear the old Red river going on to where ever it goes. I feel that I can under stand where and what you are saying my Lela, please do keep this wonderful work you are doing coming to us.

Hats off to Papa, for turning it into an adventure for you two. I think thats the way we should look at everything in life. Another lesson learned. More pictures for our mental scrapbook. It really is up to us which ones we put in that scrapbook.

Much Ado about Fresh Air

Much Ado about Fresh Air

If I could wish for just one thing for each of you it would be that you have access to a bedroom with a window you could open at night above your head while you sleep.

Last night was the first night we had been able to sleep with our window open this winter. I slept like a baby with the night breezes blowing over my face and head. I woke up invigorated and ready to face the day.

The sensation is one of cleansing the cobwebs and stale thoughts and feelings from our mind and soul. Just as we use the wheatgrass juice to detox our bodies and purify our cells, just good old night breezes does the same thing by supplying fresh oxygen to our lungs and ultimately every cell of our being.

I woke up at five and laid in bed until six – just in a wonderful – pain free – stress free – dream world.   The wind blowing through the trees outside the window with that wonderful soothing sound like moving water. In fact I thought I was hearing the water running in the creek down the hill! So crystalline was the sound and feeling.

Just as we ‘air’ out rooms in the spring to ‘clean and clear’ the air, so to can we clean out the mustiness and staleness of our mind and soul very easily.

So at least go out on the front porch and take two or three deep breaths of air – drink it in like a big glass of water.  Lela
