March 5, 2008 at 1:39 pm eHi Mom, it seems to me it is an ongoing cycle. We no more than get one room or closet cleaned out then there is a cluttered mess somewhere else. Isn’t our life the same way? Thats why I have always resonated with our home representing our basic self.
A room that is closed off and not used very often eventually still needs a cleaning and clearing out. It seems to get kind of dusty and uninteresting. We just need to stir things up a little and start something new.
We could say that is the same as a relationship we don’t pay much attention to, like a partner or a child. Eventually our neglect takes a toll there too.

I have always been a great believer in getting up everyday and ‘getting my house in order.’ It justs makes the whole day better. It feels like we are then ready for ‘life.‘ I hate that I don’t have the energy to take care of this the way I did when I was young. It seems to represent my growing older and slowing down.
I don’t mind getting older, I just want to be able to manage (control?) my surroundings. Don’t we all?

Feng Shui Tip for Wednesday March 5th from Astrology.com

If you are trying to sell your home and you have any abstract art hanging around, you need to take it down and put it away. It’s been proven that prospective buyers who peruse possible new living spaces have a tremendous memory of what your personal art preferences are but don’t remember what the kitchen you just spent a ton of money renovating looks like. Move the art, replace it with mirrors to make the space look dimensionally larger and lead them on to the great amenities. Sold! ![]()
